Refund Policy – Small Business Connect Marketplace

1. Overview

Small Business Connect operates as a multivendor marketplace that connects customers with independent sellers (“Vendors”). Each Vendor manages their own products, shipping, customer service, and refund processes. As a platform, Small Business Connect facilitates the transaction but is not the seller of record.

By purchasing through our marketplace, you acknowledge that all refund, return, and exchange requests must be directed to the Vendor who supplied the product.

2. Vendor Responsibility for Refunds

• Each Vendor is solely responsible for handling refunds, returns, replacements, and warranty claims for the products they sell.

• Vendors must comply with all applicable Australian Consumer Law (ACL) obligations, including providing remedies for faulty, damaged, or misrepresented products.

• Customers must contact the Vendor directly to initiate a refund or return request.

3. Faulty or Defective Products

If you receive a faulty, damaged, or defective product:

• Contact the Vendor who sold the item as soon as possible.

• Provide any requested information such as order number, photos, or a description of the issue.

• The Vendor is required to assess your claim and provide an appropriate remedy in line with Australian Consumer Law.

Small Business Connect is not liable for refunds, replacements, or compensation relating to faulty or defective products.

4. Marketplace Platform Limitations

Small Business Connect:

• Does not manufacture, store, or ship products.

• Does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items sold by Vendors.

• Is not responsible for Vendor policies, actions, or decisions regarding refunds or returns.

However, we may assist in facilitating communication between customers and Vendors if needed.

5. Disputes

If you are unable to resolve an issue directly with a Vendor:

• You may contact Small Business Connect for support in mediating communication.

• We may review the matter to ensure Vendors are meeting marketplace standards.

• Final decisions regarding refunds remain the responsibility of the Vendor.

6. Changes to This Policy

Small Business Connect may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Continued use of the marketplace indicates acceptance of any updated terms.
